I just wanna make shit. 

 

I wanna make shit I care about, and make it with cool, creative people with whom I can develop meaningful collaborative relationships, so we can keep making cool shit together. 

 

I wanna make shit that means something to other people, and shit that means something to me. I want my shit to be part of the conversation, part of something infinitely larger, presented in the hope of making people feel less shitty. 

 

As a gay man, it’s important for me to put shit out there that I did not have access to as a frightened queer kid growing up in Texas; shit that says, no matter who your bully is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Whether it’s other kids or church or politicians or celebrities or family or even your own terrified little mind, it is all BULLshit. Very different kind of shit, and not cool. 

 

I love being a performer, because it’s cathartic. 

My favorite thing about producing is the privilege of collaboration. 

Writing is a jigsaw puzzle, where I get to make the pieces.

 

No bullshit. 

Just cool shit.
